When my hen, hennible ate her first ever hatch all she left was the legs. That's how I got her, her first owner was so disgusted she was going to shoot her I said "no no no I'll take her" chickens are cannibles for sure... And certainly omnivores. Low protein levels tend to send them into egg eating or canniblism.
Sassy, you could possible give the chick some electrolytes to help it out, (I use Epsom salts, or perhaps feed store has super booster it's like chicken gatoraid with vitamins and I think antibiotics) and something supper yummy like mashed banana or other soft fruit to temp it to eat.
