I need help right away please

One of my laying hens got stuck in some fishing net and the other hens starting picking on her. They tore her comb off and she's bleeding, but it's not exactly gushing blood. I put her in a dog cage with some hay and food and water, she's just hanging out right now. Should I try and wrap her head or something? I've never had this happen with my hens and I'm very worried. Thank you.

Chicky has stopped bleeding, for the most part. It's almost dried up completely. I gave her some corn and she's happy. I'm going to wait and see how she is tomorrow

Sorry about your problem. Things look worse than they really are. Due to their rich blood supply, combs bleed a lot. That added to the head shaking that she is doing will make a real mess. Keep her separated from the others until the bleeding stops.

Thanks a bunch. She's drinking and eating, the bleeding has gone down a bit.

A little bit of cornstarch or flour might help with the bleeding, but I wouldn't use it unless necessary.
