If you don't have another Roo to replace him with then you might want to build him a
hold, breeding or what ever coop to keep him in that is if you are trying to collect fertile
egg's for the incubator ........ It is so funny one month some years back I had over
30 Roosters in the yard then off to freezer camp and a couple of months later a mass
amount of noise and a Bob Cat had gotten in the coop and got my last two Roosters
of my EE chickens it was hard to replace the roo .........
Ain't that just the luck! lol Yeah, not having an Aussie replacement and needing to fatten him up kept him out of the freezer. He sure has had a change of attitude since I put him in the roo pen. He is in there with six roos of other breeds. They gave him an attitude adjustment and now all is quiet. But I do need a couple breeding pens.
End of story. I'm grateful for the education, not only from him, and my flock, but from all of your input. Rehab doesn't work. It's just in the genes. Unfortunate. :/ Thanks again..... Another day.............
We have a lot of fun and learn a lot too. Take care!
