I decided to do an experiement for class and I was hatching a chicken egg with my body temperature (it spent the first 2 weeks in an incubator before I starte to ensure fertility and development). It's been fine recently and living! I recently discovered the air cell detatched but I knew of successful hatches so I left it be. I candled it yesterday and the air cell looks scrambled (like a bottle of water that got shook up and little bubbles are at the top). It's overdue so I did the float test today an it goes under all the way except for the air cell side which sits above water. I also am not in a dark enough room to see really well in the egg but I don't have a darker room. I'm scared it could be drowning! Please help! I don't know what to do and if it does drown an there was a possibility I could have saved it I will be devastated!
