I need help!

Do a quick review of the Mama Heating Pad in the Brooder (Picture Heavy) - UPDATE. Go buy a Sunbeam Xpress extra large heating pad, set up a heating pad cave in a sectioned off area of your coop, in an extra large dog kennel, or in an extra large box in your house. Get them moved out to your coop in a secure area just as soon as you can. If they are in your house, be sure they are not accessible to pets or small children.

You didn't mention the age of the chicks, but from hatch to 7 days old (the first week) the heated portion of the brooder should be around 90 degrees, but there should be a cooler area as well for them to move around and adjust to the location they are most comfortable. It's usually recommended that brooder temperatures decline by 5 degree per week until the chicks are fully feathered (around 5 weeks of age). If you're in Florida and have a secure, outdoor place to keep them (e.g., garage, shed), you may not need to provide supplemental heat.

As @song of joy basically said, we need more info to assess your situation.

Where do you intend on keeping them? Inside? Outside? Coop? Garage?

What is age of the chicks?
