I need help

My 5 week old sily is tucking his head in his chest and running backwards is this wry neck

Sounds neurological for sure.

That sounds like wry neck (torticolis, crook neck,) a neurological symptom in chickens. It can be due to heredity, vitamin E or thiamine (B1) deficiency, a head injury, and in certain infectious diseases in older birds. You can get Poultry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell and give 1/2 ml daily. Or get some human vitamin E softgels and give 1 emptied softgel along with 1/4 tablet crushed B complex, and a bit of egg yolk daily. I would treat at least 2 weeks to see if it helps. Make sure that it is eating, and feeding wet chick mash with water may be best several times a day.

I had that happen once to two chicks. I suspected Crazy Chick Disease, so I treated them both with vitamin E orally and they both recovered.

I've never had to deal with this (fortunately for me) so I don't have much experience, but I did have a chick with her head bent forward and her eyes closed. I don't remember much because that was when I first got chickens. Sadly that chick passed away.* but anyways good luck with your treatment. Also, maybe a couple pictures would help?
