I need help

Hello all,
Well I need some help to know what is going on with my chickens. I have had two roosters pass away within 11 days. They both showed no signs of anything being wrong then suddenly had labored breathing and were wattling around like a duck and have passed away. Help... I was thinking maybe because of the heat for the second one? We had record heat of about 106 this weekend. I don't want to keep losing my chickens.

It could be from the heat, make sure there is shade for them, ice in the water, set up a sprinkler, get a kiddie pool, place frozen jugs of water around the run so they can sit by them. place a fan on the outside of the run to blow on them

If they overheat just place them in a bucket of cool water for a few minutes to lower their body temp. or else take them into air conditioning for awhile. Big heavy birds have trouble breathing in the hot humid air.

I have landscaped shady area for mine in their pens and I water it down each a.m. before turning the chickens out. I keep a fan in window facing outward to draw out the hot air while pulling in a breeze thru the others.
