I need help.....

ok this is late but we always can use a stand by recipe for when we are in a rut...
I fry a pound of ground beef, drain and set aside, then in the same pan, fry some diced potatoes with onions till browned and soft. Add the gr beef into potato mixture and then add a can of mushroom soup. This is one of those 30 min or less meals. Less, if you have the potatoes left over from baking so all you have to do is brown them. You may want to add a bit of milk or not depending on how thick you want the mixtures. It is sooooo good. I play with this recipe..sometimes I brown a bag of cole slaw with onions and add to beef. Season your way.

Late to the game but this is my families favorite "cheap" hamburger meal, it looks like crap but tastes pretty darn good!

My family hates cabbage but love this dish, we never have leftovers! I shred my own cabbage rather than a mix and use a dash of real honey instead of splenda.
Worth a try for a little Asian flair to ground hamburger and it costs under 5.00 to make (at least where we live).

Thanks for the link, that looks great. We LOVE Ramen noodles so this should be a good recipe for us.

Actually I stuck the ground beef in the freezer. LOL

Wednesday...the night I started this thread nothing sounded good so I made a couple of loaves of bread and we had tuna sandwiches with fries. Last night we had red beans and rice with cornbread. I'm making Pizza tonight because I'm going to a baby shower on Sat and I have to drive into Houston to go to the shower. It's a two hour drive so I'll be gone all day. I will make 3 Pizzas so there will be leftover Pizza for the guys to reheat.

So I guess it will be Sunday before I get to use my ground beef LOL and I plan to make the stir-fry with the Ramen noodles.....
