I purchased 20 rare breeds hatching eggs on this site for $120.00 and when I received them 7 were broken. I let the seller know but they just said they were sorry. What should I ecpect to happen. I offered to buy some more eggs at a reduced price and pay for shipping but I have had no response. Am I expecting too much?
please give me some advice.

Hi,

I know it really stinks but shipping eggs is a risky thing and buying shipped eggs is even riskier

As someone that sells and ships eggs I always offer a free replacement dozen for bad shipping, or even a bad hatch if the buyer is willing to pay the shipping but most breeders don't.

Perhaps you will still get a good hatch from those that made it.

Goodluck!!

Have they made it? I started sending mine Expedited with tracking info. I think the priority is just a gimmick and they do not give a squat about whether it says "fragile" "Live embryos" or "handle with care!" I received some I bought off ebay two days ago and out of the 16 or so sent only four were intact and they had so much goo on them that I had to toss them too.

I usually don't buy shipped eggs mainly for that reason. Even if they come intact the rough handling can damage the aircells. My meat head mailman has left mine in my mailbox when it was 17* outside. Even with the box being labeled "FRAGILE HATCHING EGGS....CALL FOR PICK UP"
