I need ideas for the clumsy non-crafty person

LOVE that idea SlightlyCracked! And what is left over of the corn can be ground for the chickens!!!

TWO purposes in One!! How 'bout that?! Seriously though, this idea is brilliant! Thanks for posting it!

that blueberry vodka could not be easier...fill a bottle with vodka, I used medium priced vodka, and put a cup or so of blueberries in the bottle, add about a 1/2 cup sugar and cover the top with tulle/cheescloth or something breathable but bug-proof and sit somewhere cool and dark for a month, then strain out the blueberries (I bet eating them or using them in food would be interesting, lol!!!) and bottle your hooch for gifts!!! I look forward to the kahlua as I personally love that coffee flavor!!! I am saving my frappacino bottles to sterilize and reuse for my liquor gifts..the frap. bottles have nice screw on tops I can cover with something crafty. Better make your hooch soon or you wont have a month to let it "work" with the sugars

Yes I did notice, and I love all the ideas people have come up with for me. Like the title says, I am not a crafty person and some of these idea are right up my alley - just add glitter.

Did you want that recipe for salt dough? lol
I made it once and made the mistake of using tortilla mix instead of flour.. made awesome play dough.

When I was little my mom used to make ornaments with me. Felt ornaments and salt dough ornaments... mt favorite ones were the salt dough mice in walnut shells

You take half a walnut shell and use the dough to make a little mouse head and you put it in the shell and 'cover' it so it looks like a mouse sleeping in a walnut shell bed

I wish I still had mine.

We also used to dip autumn leaves in paraffin wax and use acorns and pine cones to create votive holders, etc. We would also make these little mini Christmas trees... you take a Styrofoam cone and cover it with mini pinecones and then add your garland (ribbon), mini ornaments (you could make these from clay etc) and little gifts under the tree

I like the tissue dish idea

I might have the kids make some

(and me...LOL)

I'm making bottlecap charms this year for the kids. You decorate the inside (and outside if you want) of a bottlecap with images, glitter, etc.... then you fill it with something clear that will harden. I'm using a resin, but I think some good coats of varnish or a good glue would work too.

Wreck journals and friendship books are fun for young and old alike

Just buy full size or mini composition books at the dollar store... decorate.. and fill with 'wrecking' ideas for the wreck journal... you can google for more info.... or questions and fun stuff for the friendship books

I found some really large pine cones, spray painted them gold and silver, spray painted a large cheap basket gold, put them in it & a big red bow on top--it's still being used as a Christmas arrangement.

I also found some inexpensive small kitchen tiles at Lowe's & glued plastic feet to the bottom of them & gave them as coasters & a local tile place gave me some old-but pretty-discontinued floor tiles & I did the same & gave them as, you know, the things you put hot pots & pans on (having a senior moment here & forget what you call those)!
