I Need Pictures of LADDER ROOSTS and What would you use?

This is a homemade ladder roost. It isn't too tall because I'm intending it to accommodate Jersey Black giants and Australorps. The ends are 3-4-5 triangles. In other words it is 4 feet tall with a 5-foot long ladder.

You can use scrap 2 x 4's or similar to make it.

They also have the option to roost up on some 2 x 4's screwed up in the rafters.

Does anyone know from the pictures posted by Chicken Boo at the start of this thread, what the black, plastic trays are? I'm guessing they might have something to do with gardening, plant / soil containers? I'm trying to find a similar product to build some manure boxes under our roosts. Thanks!

Check out my build the last couple pics show pictures of the removable roost bars. When you need them out of the way, lift them out of the brackets and remove. Thought about the ladder style but I love this style, easier to to get COMPLETELY out of the way when cleaning or whatever ..

Auto supply stores sell then as oil/transmission oil catchers. A plastic sweater box/short storage container sans lid should work too

Concrete mixing trays from Lowes are just like that too! Fantastic idea!
