I need several more chickens in Omaha

The sebright is delightful! What an endearing little bird. It dances in circles, wags it tail, and flies to your shoulder for attention. It will sit on your shoulder as long as you'll tolerate it, peeping and nuzzling the whole time. The bigger chickens give it a hard time, but they can't come close to catching it and he has no qualms about attacking them if they get too close. All that fun in a tiny little bundle, and it only cost 2 cornish hens! I think this one, contrary to my previous opinion on the matter, will get a name (escher) and a permanent place. Thanks!

I am so glad you are enjoying that little birds company. It is such a pretty little thing, you will have to tell me if it turns out to be a roo for sure.

If I was totally sure it was a hen, I would have kept the pretty little thing, but I didnt want to get attached and have to give it up like I just did with the serama boys.

It had personality from the get-go, tho, always SO inquisitive.

Thanks for the cornish cross, I had my hubby do the job when he got home, it was still early evening, he was very gentle with them and we said a quick prayer and it was extremely fast. I still cried, becuz I know you raised them to be layers and it doesnt seem life is too fair for them, but wanted to thank you very much and we thanked the birds also for giving their life for us.

Still needing more chickens! Newchickenmom has gone awol, and i'd like to put in an order. I'd just do it myself, but I don't want 25 to add to the group, just 10 or so. I also have 2 rir roos that need to go.

ok, i don't need any more now. I broke down and ordered from welp hatcheries. Of course, I had to get more than i really want. I should have 3 black sexlinks and 3 ameraucanas to find a home for, providing they all survive the trip. The 2 rir roosters are still available.
