I need Silkies, who has them available?

I know...long shot right. LOL I really want some silkies! Would love to find some available or within the next two weeks. Anyone know? I've checked a few sites and they are all unavailable until June

A lady down the road sells them here for a dollar a piece, and I know she has 50 or so in a brooder, plus about 100 eggs in her incubators. Too bad you aren't closer.

Try your local Craigslist. That's how I found a local breeder for several of mine.

FMAFarms- I have an ad on both local Craigslist, no luck yet! Everyone that has Silkies has pairs and I don't want or need a rooster. Just a few hens, or chicks and would hopefully get a hen or two out of them and rehome any roos.

This is your problem "Just a few hens." I don't know of any one that will turn loose of multiple females without including a male. It is too difficult to sell/give away the males that are not being used in a breeding pen. You will either have to go to multiple breeders to see if there any females available or bite the bullet and get a pair or trio.
