This winter has been a blessing and a curse. We had at least another 6 weeks to finish up pre-snow projects but I do miss the days when it is snowing too hard to do anything outside. Such a great excuse to lay on the couch and enjoy nothingness. Hasnt happened so far. We have also been moving the lawn, sucking up the last of the leaves, tilling the garden..sigh
We usually have pretty defined seasons here: Spring is mild and rainy, Summer is warm/hot, Fall is cool and rainy, and Winter is cold. This year has been one big Spring/Fall. It stinks! Our summer was really wet and mild. Gardens did horrible. Now were in January, and I think we've had maybe one week where temps have been below freezing?! I - WANT - SNOW!
Normally, we're lucky to get a few days in a row of it, but sheesh, not even a snow flake! I could do without the ice, I can't get around real well right now and a fall would be really bad news for me. But I agree with Avalon, I love it when there is snow outside, and you truly have an excuse to just relax and enjoy it. I love stepping outside when it is snowing, and listening to how incredibly quiet it is.
