Oh kasie, i am so sorry. you tried so hard to save her. what a trooper you are. you may want to find a bycer who lives near you to mentor you on raising some chicks of your own. you have such a talent for this and it sounds like you would make a really good chick mom. well hugs to you and let us know if you want to venture out a raise some babies..robin

Sorry Kasie. You gave her a chance and love. That's a lot more than many sick animals get. It's a hard fact of life that you can't save all of them, but I think the fact that you tried so hard say a lot about you.

Kasie, It was no fault on your part! You did more than most! You deeffinately gave her more than a fighting chance. Sounds like she was just to far gone by the time you got her. I know she was loved and very well cared for. Unfortunately sometimes they just arn't ment to make it. I really hope you try to get some of your own. You would make such a great chicky mom! I am really proud of you for what you did. Very Very Very few people would have even botherd. You sound very strong and determind. I hope you get some of your own chicks. I am definatly considering it my teacher is wanting to hatch more chicks for our class i am a senior so ffa is out of reach for me when i was younger my grandpa used to help me raise little chicks he passed away two years ago and this is the first chick i have ever had without him i do really want to try and get more chicks however

My wife hated chikens! she had a bad experience when lil. BUT now she is comming around. LOL she is even letting the chicks land on her arm and roost. LOL They are 6 1/2 weeks now. almost time to go outside. Don't tell her but I orderd more eggs. SHHHHHHhhhhh!!!!!!

HAHAHA i wont tell her but that is great!!!!! i love chickens my grandpa lived in a neighbor hood and had tons hehe it was great i want to get some of my own but i also live in a neigborhood

so im not to sure about how to go about getting them.... i am definatly considering getting some of my own if there is one thing for sure i how have chicken fever i love the little guys
