I need some duck help!

If you get females you will have a lot more noise. Males are quiet while females are loud.

Ok great, thank you for your help! I'll have to do some research on the breed. It's definitely a great story to tell! I always new one day I would have ducks, but I didn't know that day would come so quickly! It would be very sad if someone dumped him, but he's going to have a nice life now! It's so weird how quite he is, he occasionally gives light quaking sounds. Maybe I'm just used to my noisy chickens, but I'm so glad he found me!

Really I would of thought it was the other way around. I guess I have to get a few ladies to find out haha! Would it matter if I had an assortment of breeds, or should I stick with the same breed? I would really only care about the eggs not meat. I also have some cracked corn for the chickens it's good to know he can have the same foods.

I feed my ducks regular layer feed. s he should do fine eating with your chicken.

Thanks for all the help! I was panicking because he was loving the layer feed, and I wasn't sure if it was bad for him. Also I think he doesn't like drinking out of the poultry water fountain, he prefers to drink out of his pool. I'm not sure if he can't fit his bill in the bottom part of the fountain, but I feel bad because his pool water isn't clean from him jumping in and out of it.

I figured that was the problem, I'll figure out an upgrade for our current waterer. I dont like the fountains anyways, they leak way to much!
