I have a week old keet that was doing awesome, first one to hatch, walking just fine no problems etc.
2nd keet to hatch had what I thought was splayed leg. Treated that for 2 days and then she started walking on her hocks.
Picked up nutri drench, sav-a-chick, poultry vitamins and a vitamin b complex on Saturday. Put the vitamins in their water Saturday night.
Started giving them the crushed up vitamin b complex in their water yesterday morning, as I was told they need just the vitamin b complex. Yesterday morning my first hatched keet that was doing so well was walking on his hocks. Now today he's walking so badly he's just walking on the joints! They're bruising, he can't really get around, and now his feet/legs look like they're deforming :barnie:eek::hit
HELP! What else can I do?! I syringed some straight vitamin b water to him today (I think he got some anyway).
Idk what else to do.
The first pic is him a few days ago, the other 2 are his legs this morning

Have you posted on the Guinea forums too?

Do the tendons feel like they are in place? I would find it unusual for both legs to have slipped tendons, but I suppose it's possible. Both feet appear to be turned out - is that correct? And...the whole leg(s) look swollen too (correct). Sorry, I don't know what a Keet is really supposed to look like - it just all looks swollen and turned to the outside.

I haven't I didn't know if I should post there or in here. I have no idea how to feel if a tendon is slipped or not, or what it would even look like. I've tried, but I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. I've looked on YouTube and there isn't much there to help either. He used to walk just fine now he's getting worse by the hour it seems and his legs/toes are looking crippled, he's the biggest keet of the bunch, I have no idea what's going on.

Should I post this in the guinea forum too?

Hmm...i would say your supportive care is fine but I wouldn't go more than a couple of days I think it would be more humane to cull and I know how much we love our birds but sometimes we need to love them enough to let them go...so sorry your going through this sweety

I know, just sucks when he had no issues at all and then bam, overnight he can't walk :(
