I need something to DO!

I am tired of doing the same thing every day!! I love my kids, but really, sometimes I need to do something besides dishes and laundry and say "stop yelling".

DH went to go varmint shooting with his BIL, and so I am here doing nothing different then I do every other day. He is awesome, but he just doesnt get it!

Does anyone know how I feel? I have plenty to DO - laundry, weeding, dishes, pick up the toys. again. The list is endless. But I want to do something different, something fun with the kids. (since I aint getting away from them today

) They are 1, 3, and 4, and we cant really do anything like swimming because we are out in the middle of know where and I cannot really go anywhere far today.

We went today to a poultry potluck and get together with all the folks from MI. Maybe plan something like that in your area?

I feel kinda like that today...it is rainy and I have plenty of chores to do but I don't feel like doing any of that so I am BYCing and finding a scroll pattern for a blanket....

You guys could go fishing or on a hike or picnic. Simple things can be really fun.

--wait...I guess no swimming hole means no fishing hole either....

You need a 'fun jar'.

You and older kids put slips of paper in the jar with fun things that only take an hour or two. You'll have to do the writing of course...lol

Then when the mood strikes you....take one out and do it.

I remember those days of mommy-itus well. Now I have teenagers and I am all alone...not sure which is worse

I wanted to go SOOOOOOO BAD! I love going shooting and I have a huge bag of baby food jars and bottles saved up to shoot at. But he needed some guy time, and I understand, he works hard all week.


But I need some 'guy time' too, with him!

Who wants to go shooting with me????

We're just a drive over the hill, stop by any time. I'm sure I could muster up a couple of guns.
