I need supplement duckling food

If they already had grit before you left home, it should still be in their gizzards, and they will be fine.

If the greens are in small pieces, they should pass safely through the ducklings in any case. Grit will just make a difference to how much nutrition the ducklings get from the greens as they pass through.
Okay thanks for the advice hopefully this will never happen again because they can stay at home but I will keep this in mind!

Agreed, chick grit is insoluble so it takes a while for the grit to break down into smaller bits before being expelled through waste, your ducklings will be fine without for a few days.

It would be extremely helpful to know where you are. Since you don't have a Walmart nearby I'm guessing you may be in another country?

It would be helpful if you had your location under your avatar picture. Simple to do and really helps people help you. Just go to the top right where your "BYC name" is and click. A drop-down menu will take you to "Account Details". If you put your location there it will always be under your picture.

For a short term substitute, cut oats, not the instant kind. All grocery stores have it in a round tube like container for $3-$4.

If you have access to a multi vitamin with niacin crush it into powder and add 1 per 8oz of oats.
