Don't say we said it. You say it. You are a VERY smart and perceptive young woman. Show your parents the PK I know and they will be honest with you.

They probably already are being honest with you anyways. Sure, water retention could mean a lot of things but it can also be very hard to figure out the source.

Time, faith, good thoughts, and prayer.

Life's road isn't always a straight path where you can see ahead. Sometimes there's a curve, and you can't see the road ahead, but you know it's there. So, you keep going. That's faith.

Be strong!

to our special Princess......... first of all try not too worry too much.... thankfully you have given an update... they will run lots more tests on your dad, we shall all pray that everything will be fine and that dad makes a speedy recovery. He might have a small kidney stone blocking the "pipes" to the bladder hence the water retention....

In the meantime your mom will no doubt need lots of help and support from you ...........and remembering that we are all here to offer our help and support to you.

Will keep you and your family in my prayers little Sprite xxxxxx

Give your parents our best wishes .........

PK,

don't be too afraid sweetheart.

Water retention can be caused by many many things, and some of them are really very simple, and can be fixed easily.

I don't know how old your dad is, but I am sure he is not that old.

Really very simple things can cause retention, and when water retention is involved in many major illnesses, the person usually already knows what the issue is, ok.

I am sure it is a worry if your dad is feeling unwell, but the doctors will find what is causing this.

Chin up and be positive.
