Ok, so I am a new B with chickens and I saw an add for a chick who is a cross of an Australorp roo and Americana hen. They say it looks just like a black australorp with a pea comb and came him from a green egg. SO...what will this chicken look like and if it is a girl what color of eggs would it lay??? If it is going to be something interesting...like oliveish I would love to get it but would these 2breeds make olive ethers???????

Could be another shade of green too. The pea comb is genetically linked with the blue and green eggs. The olive eggs are because of the depth of the brown coated by the green/blue so the egg color of a lighter brown egg layer crossed to a green/blue egg layer should be a paler olive green or some sort of green but the pea combed pullets should be the ones to keep if you want colored eggs or just to your local hatchery and buy some Easter Eggers, you get some cool looking chickens and multi colored eggs.
