Well, not the best photo for a gender ID - but with what can be seen I do not see anything remotely cockerel about this bird. It would be best if we can see a photo that shows the bird's head.

The red bird, front and center, does appear to be a cockerel, yes.

You don't ever need to get rid of him. If you only want eggs, don't let the girls sit on them. He looks like a production red.

You are correct. The bird in the center with the large, bright red combs and wattles is a Production Red rooster. The others behind him are Production Red hens. The white birds look like Cornish cross which should be butchered by 8 weeks. If you wait much beyond that, they will begin to develop all sorts of health problems due to their abnormal growth rates.
