I need unbias picture opinions, please help me!

This has made my day! I followed your posts earlier today and subscribed to see the outcome of your trip, praying for her to be the same dog.
As I said on my reply on your blog, we regularly foster dogs and all have had "issues". With consistency, kindness and firmness when needed they've all been reintroduced to regular life and got their secure personalities back.
What a blessing to get to be together with her again and have second chances. YAY!!!!!!!!!

Note:
I also tried to post on your blog page but as usual AOL helped make the posts disappear so I kept redoing them...not seeing that they had to be approved first before showing! DUH! Don't think I'm a nutso, with AOL I never know what's going through and what's not!

Take care and thanks for sharing this awesome journey!!!!!

I'm glad you've found her and I hope that being in a loving home again can help her overcome whatever she's been through. I hope over time she and Zoe will be able to get along. How was she with your kids?

I really hope she gets over the aggression. She's a dollbaby with the boys so far, but Zo, forget it. I don't want any fights, so Chey will sleep in the bathroom with her own blanket tonight.

Thank you everyone for the support and advice

Well the bathroom idea won't work. They're scratching and whining at the doors.

I've sent DH out for one of the crates, I'm going to scrub it up and she can sleep in there. No fights through cages, hopefully.

Im so happy for you! Maybe one day I will find my first baby..I cant imagine how I would feel if i did. Fate sure wants you two to be together. Its so sad what was done to her. People who do that to animals need to be tortured and let to live and be tortured again. Its horrible. A very Old man that has been dear to me all of my life said to me yesterday; "the Bible says that anyone who is cruel to animals will forever be haunted by the sounds of their moans for all eternity. I sure hope thats true.
Good luck getting your girl settled down, never underestimate the power of love and patience with an animal.

SterlingAcres is she in yourv siggie yet. also this may sound cruel but here is a training idea put zo in a crate and put a shock collar on chey and let her in the room every time chey growls or snarls or any sighn of meaness press the button use a shock collar with a vibration button. or buy a muzzle for chey and a muzzle for zo and let the in a room togather on leash hold a dog on one leash and have your dh hold the other and if there is no growling then move a foot closer. do this on nutral ground to both dogs. use this method first use the shock collar last

Hello,
I am so happy for you. You have a lot of work ahead of you.

We were in the military and about 18 years ago we had to put our 2 year
old cockerspanial in a dog boarders home for 8 weeks during a transition time during the first gulf war.
It was nebraska we did not know any one we looked at several places, I finally decied on the most expensive place it was a working horse ranch and everything about the place was stunning.
"even though we could not afford it I wanted the best for her" I cried uncontrolably while driving away.
those people looked me in the eyes seeing my tears and reassured us they would give her all the best of care and play with her and love her as if she were thiers.

When we got her back after 2 months she was a completely changed dog. Her sweet playful side was gone and replaced with a snippy, mouthy, pissing, monster who did not want touched, and every time you reached for her she shrunk back with fear. And all that in just 2 months It broke my heart.
I was so mad, I paid so much money for a bunch of jerks to mistreat and beat my Baby.
2 months of hurt took 6 months to get under some form of control again and another 1-2 years for her to become close to what she was before we took her there. She lived another 14 years, and I miss her still today. Hang in there you have a long row to hoe but it is worth it.

Thank you gaited. It doesn't sound cruel to me. I brought Zoey down this morning and she peed where she smelled Cheyenne

Here we go, it took 8 months to even potty train her to begin with. I took the blanket off Chey's cage and let them sniff each other. Though Chey lunged and raised her hackles, she didn't look as aggressive.
I'll try the muzzles and shock collar idea. Something's got to break the nastiness, I can't have the boys getting in the middle of that. They'd be missing arms.

Thanks for the continued support guys. It really means a lot.
