So, I'm guessing she's a Blue Copper Marans x White Chantecler cross.
She was originally sold to us as a Cuckoo Marans
She was originally sold as a Cuckoo Marans at a few days old, it quickly became pretty clear that that wasn't the case, due to her comb and obviously she never developed the coloring. So yes, we we're pretty sure that she was not purebred. But maybe the feathered feet are some leftovers from the Marans
Makes sense. Did you get her from a breeder? She could be a blue Wyandotte/French Marans cross then. I believe those are the feather footed Marans.
She's a crossbred, no doubt about that. "Likely" a Wyandotte cross to get the rose come but not necessarily.
Wyandotte x Marans seems most likely. If it was crossed with a Cochin, it would have yellow legs, and she doesn't.Probably crossed with a marans, then.
Doesn't matter, as all the cross breeding, along with other breeds crossed to make these breeds, can give it a rose combDefinitely not, as all those breeds have single combs, and this hen has a rose comb.
It also is the shape of a marans and no, they can't give a rose comb, single comb is recessive.Doesn't matter, as all the cross breeding, along with other breeds crossed to make these breeds, can give it a rose comb

Whoops. I meant Wyandotte, but not very much anyways.Dude, I SAID that she looked like she was a Blue Andalusian/MARANS/Cochin cross!!!
