I hope you find her.

The possibilities are endless, she could be laying eggs in a hidden area or something could of gotten to her, let me kno if she shows up or if there are any feathers laying around somewhere and where :hugs:fl

After three days on the nest a good brood hen will come off her nest for a quick snack, a sip of water, and use the occasion to empty her bowls. You should see her for maybe one hour then walking around and clucking. Watch her from a distance and see where she is sitting. It will be very easy after dark to walk up on her and and pick her up.

Yesterday one of my 6 7-week-old black australorps went missing. They were having some fresh air outside their coop with the door propped open. I looked all over and feared the worst. Then I went to pick up the plastic bowl I had thrown out of the big girl coop and they must have been playing on it, flipped it over, and one of them was trapped under it. Luckily it wasn't not a couple hours and she was OK

I hope she comes back. One of my chickens ran away a couple days ago as well. She got spooked by a dog attack and we haven't been able to find her. In the future, when feeding the chickens treats try using some sort of noise like the shaking of food in a can, (they will be trained to come running) and if one ever leaves again, while looking for her you can go around the neighborhood shaking the can :)
