Looks like a quitter to me.. but leaving them in extra long on your first hatch to be sure won't hurt anything. Thanks for the help! Here’s some pictures!![]()

Yes I did set them on December 13 and I was told that the day I set them I start counting day one the next day.Oh I thought you set them on Dec 13
I don’t smell anything dead or rotten. That’s the first thing I did to be honest. I don’t hear any peeping. I haven’t seen any beaks. These eggs are from a friend of mine she is having an amazing time with her eggs she has put in her incubator. The temp has been set to 100 throughout I was told to leave it high and the humidity was at 50% the entire time.Looks like a quitter to me.. but leaving them in extra long on your first hatch to be sure won't hurt anything.
Can you smell anything dead or rotten. Hear any peeping? See any beak poking into the internal air cell?
Were they shipped eggs or from your own flock?
What bator, what temp and humidity throughout, calibrated thermometer?
I agree humidity should be kept high this late in the game for best chance.![]()
Good information about your friends hatch going well! The temp has been set to 100 throughout I was told to leave it high and the humidity was at 50% the entire time
My bator is still air.Good information about your friends hatch going well!
Is you bator still or forced air?
If it happens to be still then that would be low and late hatch may still happen.
Did you notice any temp spikes or drops, have any power outages, have all vent holes OPEN, or anything else you can think of that might cause issues? Did you verify your temp with anything?
Definitely be patient if there is no smell!
Candling isn't my strong suit when I don't see active veins. Maybe @WVduckchick will have time to check in on ya & share some wisdom, TIA!
If you are sure of this.. then it should have been at 101.5 to 102.. and late hatch is STILL VERY possible! My bator is still air.

Still air bators have their heaters at the top AND the hot air stratifies.. making the cool air down low and the warm air near the top of the eggs. This is WHY the temperature in a still air bator should be measured at the top of the EGGS and not on the floor. In a still air incubator the temperature will be different in different places. You need to rotate which eggs are closest to the heater to get a better hatch rate.
