is all of Az. like that or just yours? dont look like you need sand. i would just use bottom because you can move that house around and maybe put enough fertilizer on that to get something green. lol there not as big as they look and you could add some handles to each end and move it around.

i think most of AZ looks like that. you don't get a lot of grass when it only rains 1" a year

bahahhaha.... all of az looks like this.. but other people have opted into just rocking their yards.. lol i didnt do that so i have rocks, weeds, a lil grass, and dirt. hahha perfect for chickens no? lol... I would only need sand for the bottom of the little coop thing.. as i am gonna let em free range during the day... i only got the coop with the run in case i have to go to town then they will be protected and have a little area to walk in..

oh wow, thats something. 1in. ? geez. how do the snakes and scorpions even live? i dont know how you do that. nothing better on my side than a cup of hot coffee and a good rain storm.

serious question... WHAT are they going to "free range" on?

scorpions !! seriously, you would have to be a VERY strong person to be able to take the temps. they have there. almost makes me want to go play in this snow i have been complaining about

you have our attention, hehe what kind of chickens do you have/ going to get that can take that heat?? can you grow trees for shade?

we've had this discussion before.... i firmly believe you would rather sit outside on a 115* day in AZ with 3% humidity that sit outside on a 105* day in AL when it's 60% humidity.

well then, your both nuts. come visit me in the summer. the highest is about 90 on a very hot day.i will go out and put the sprinkler on the chicken coop. i dont care for steamed chicken, much rather have it fried. sooo, do you just make a batter in your summers and have them walk through it .? bet you dont even have to turn your stove on for breakfast.
