umm yes..one week = 7 days..thats what I said.

I have no idea what you mean, but he is NOT a week old yet, he's more along the lines of about 3ish days old. a kittens eyes open by 7-10 days old, his eyes are still sealed shut,

the whats left of the kittens umbilical dries up, and then falls off by about 5-7 days. his has not fallen off yet.

I do not exactly get what you said by saying that, are you saying I am wrong?, either way I am not arguing with you.

P.S. I think I know how long a week is

I'm thinking that most likely though, that the father is our flame point Siamese mix, as he's the one who got her the most, he was the last to mate her before she went out of heat, and got her a total of maybe 8 or 9 times.

They're cuties. Just keep in mind that cats can get pregnant the DAY they give birth, so make sure no males get to her before you have her spayed

I don't think she'll come back into heat so soon, never had a cat that had..but since she's outside, theres no telling, I am watching her though, and if she starts acting like she is coming into heat again, then he and baby are coming in.

I think she's finally starting to "get it" with the motherhood thing, she's spending much more time with baby


I don't remember seeing her sister Graci all day today, I'm hoping she's having her kittens somewhere

...somewhere where I can FIND them

, I've narrowed it down to IN the wooden shed, under it, or in the barn, she likes to hang out around the shed most, I don't thik she'd have them under the chicken coop, when it rains the water collects under there.

I suppose if she's not out tomorrow, then we'll know!

Why don't you just neuter all the male cats? I'm sorry I dont get why you are letting them all breed and inbreed? This is very unhealthy for your cats and the kittens. Cute kittens... yes but I see tons of them in the shelter being euthanized daily. You could be saving some of them if you want more instead of breeding cats that are still not fully grown themselves? Sorry I just don't get it?

SEVERAL of our toms ARE nuetered, we have THREE outdoor female cats, one is spayed, the other two, Graci and Sicily are the the only un altered females outside, besides ,maybe an unseen stray or two.

I do not know for a fact that the kitten is inbred, like i said, I am pretty sure the father is our UN related siamese tom, don't quote me on that, bcause you know cats, but just going on what I'd seen.

and I'm almost positive that Graci's kittens father will most likely be the big feral grey tom that comes around here. because he kept her under lock and key for the 3-4 days she was in heat, 'twas kinda cute, they slept together even, no one else besides maybe our black cat Ozzy touched her, and he only got her once(but I think he missed)

I'm keeping watch on Sicily, and if she decides to come into heat before the kitten is weaned, then she's coming in,with baby.

same with Graci, if i can find her kittens, wich I have a very odd feeling she's going to hide them very well.because she's just like her mother, who ALWAYS hide her kittens, and moved them atleast once every week.

but no, both mothers will be spayed when their kittens are old enough.

ETA: besides, it wouldn't make much since to neuter all the males, and leave the females unspayed, when there are feral toms around.

Sooo cute! I was just at a farm and they had kittens as well. The kittens were probably 4 weeks and almost as big as the mama cat! I think she had 4 babies. They were all so cute!

well, I found Graci's babies!

well, I didn't find them, yet, but I know where they are, I was wondering where she would have them, so I went to look for her, and in the old wooden shed, I heard a tiny meow, thought it might be Pasta's big ole' mouth, but I heard it again in the wooden shed, then I heard another, then I heard Graci hack LOL, she didn't come out, she's either had them IN or behind the old xmas tree, thing is, that tree is going to the dump soon, so we gotta pull it out.

we're gonna see if we can find the kittens to atleast check that they're healthy.
