It's hard to keep the humidity up in mine. I add little plastic cups of water, otherwise I can't get it high enougn during lockdown to hatch.

I used to use one all the time, they are not that bad. The only real problem is keeping the temp consistent. I normally got around a 80% hatch rate with chicken eggs and for some reason I got a 90-95% hatch rate with waterfowl. I live in a very humid climate, so that could be part of the reason. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
 
I have the LG and the slightest change in room temp affects it.
It is horrible at holding humidity.

I want to get a Brinsea to replace it.
