I normally don't worry over hatches.....FINISHED HATCH!

You took all my splashes

I now have 5 Doms out at least one more pipped and that slow butt BBS Orp that has been pipped all day just toying with me. My first Orp is Blue, hoping this one is Splash.

I now have 5 Doms out at least one more pipped and that slow butt BBS Orp that has been pipped all day just toying with me. My first Orp is Blue, hoping this one is Splash.

well I could have 2 blues but they look like the first chick thats 4 weeks old now so well see in another week or two come on chickies

If they look like the first one they are probably splashes. I really don't care what color they are, I have 2 Black Roos and a Blue roo. Although I am still wanting Black Hens

These are deff not black blue or splash..come on splashes!!!

I think Black, especially hens is rare for some reason. I have Light Blue hens and a Dark Blue hen, Splash hens but out of all the Orps I have hatched, have never gotten a Black Hen.

May I join in all the hatching excitement? I have 2 orps due to hatch tomorrow. One has pipped! My incubators are upstairs and this is the most exercise I've gotten all week. I keep running up there to check on progress. I'm hoping they hatch on time so I can clean up the hatcher in readiness of the next group going in. I've been hatching chicks for years, but I still get excited over every hatch.

6 Doms out now! At least 2 more pipped, they have pushed all the eggs to the edge of the bator so hard for me to see well.
