I noticed a lump on our new chicks necks

The chicks hatched about a month ago & have been doing very well. Today I noticed that about 5 of them have a noticeable "lump" on their necks (like the craw is full?). I've been feeding them started food & they always have plenty of water. Any suggestions as to what can cause this & what I should do to fix it?

Probably it is just that they not long ago filled their crop with feed. Try this: remove the feeder at bedtime. Check them in the morning, before reintroducing the feeder. If the lump has gone down, what you were seeing was a perfectly normal full crop. If the lump is still there, there may be a a problem that needs looking into.
