I now have ducks and geese!

im glad you didnt show any pictures of your harly quin runners i would be wantin some of them them next if you had done that ..

now i wish you hadnt even mentioned them------------------ darn i dont have any hq runners .. what a unfair world i thought such wealth was suppose to be spread around now..

i wont get any sleep just thinking about the runners i dont have..

just kidding-------,,, i better not get any this year or ill be sleepin out in the barn .. and it was 15 degrees out earlier this week ..this morning looks like it may snow its about 26 degrees.

hoping you enjoy your geese and ducks,, as much as i do mine .. its nice to hear about people raising them again in this country and enjoying doing so..

My ducks aren't harlequins, they are fawn and whites. Hatchery quality but I have birds for the pure joy of owning them, not to show and since the ducks (besides the calls) are runners I doubt I'll ever see a broody out of them and that's just fine too. I have my hands full with broody serama hens anyhow. Go broody, hatch a few chicks and raise them for around 6 weeks, go broody again. Such is the life of a serama hen.

Gorgeous geese!! My hubby says NO WAY to geese, LOL. I think they're beautiful. I just settle for the odd flock passing through here and there. ;)
