It's been 8 days since I place Chicken eggs in the incubator w/ automatic turner. 12 of 13 took however I must have read the directions wrong or my brain just figured wide end on the bottom...

The chicken on all 12 are forming at the top of the egg, normal?

Am I screwed? what a ding dong!
should I leave the eggs the way they are or flip them? I'd imagine they get flipped by their mother but I'll ask this time...

Flip them, you're still early enough in that they'll work everything out. I've done this before, with round eggs (hard to tell which end is which). I found my mistake while candling, flipped them and they hatched just fine.

Good luck!

So inside the egg will flip, air sack will move to other side etc? Just confirming, obviously it will. When will everything flip, 24 hours? 12 hours?

The embryo will, the air cell should be formed at the large end and will not move unless dislodged by rough hamdeling such as shipped eggs.

by physics and in nature the large end is up
Just a thought... in nature the wide end would probably be on the bottom more, of course more on the side but point being the laws of physics would put the wide side down. Curious...
by physics and in nature the large end is higher then the pointed end.
