Silverwing is temporarily deputy until new arrangements can be made. Then she can either be hired permanently as deputy or another cat will.

Silverwing let Icicle get comfortable before stepping out of the den. "Cats of Seedclan tonight has been difficult. We either face it together or fall divided. Finchstripe aid Rainshadow in giving out poppies seeds and treating wounds. Galefeather watch over Icepaw until he is looked at. Flamepaw stay in the nursery with Emberfeather's kits, and the rest of you get some sleep. We have a long day tomorrow."

Flamepaw trotted into the nursery and curled around Emberfeather's kits. She let them sleep beside her and made them comfortable.

Icepaw laid on the ground with Galefeather carefully watching over him.

Silverwing took a second to breathe and let her heart steady. She was always a strong cat but the loss of her two sisters struck her hard. "Oh, and Mossfeather keep at working on the warriors den with Hiddenpaw. Thank you for starting that without being told."

Hiddenpaw nodded and kept on working. "Dawnpaw! Would you mind helping us?"

Finchstripe carefully took some poppy seeds in her jaws. Giving some to Shadowchaser first, she made her way over to Silverwing. "Take some." She advised her. "It calms cats."

Silverwing shook her head and mewed, "Later, I need to be at my best to help the clan right now. Look at Icepaw and others first." Silverwing walked through the camp and checked on Rainshadow, who was treating Rustpaw.

Finchstripe nodded and walked over to Icepaw. "Hey there, furball!" She said brightly, nudging Icepaw's shoulder with her paw. "How are you feeling? Do you want a poppy seed?"
