"I'll be at your side for all of that," Jadeheart said.

Honeypaw watched the group of cats return from the gathering from the edge of the training grounds. She watched Rainshadow return to the medicine cat den and begin to sort herbs she'd collected over greenleaf and leaf-fall. Then she turned and glimpsed Emberfeather, asleep inside the nursery. Finally she looked behind her and saw Silverwing a few cat-lengths away, playing with the other warrior apprentices. Silverwing stopped and stared at Honeypaw for a few seconds. Embarrassed, Honeypaw turned away. She sighed a long, slow sigh.

Sprucetail padded towards Droppaw and sat by his side.
"How are things? Want to practice hunting?"

"Sure," said Droppaw. Though he couldn't fight, he could certainly hunt.

"Not so fast!" Tanglepelt had creaked across the clearing to Honeypaw. "My bedding is a puddle!" He grumbled. "I expect it to be replaced when you get back." Turning to Silverwing, he growled,"I don't care which apprentice does it, just be sure that it gets done."

The other badger slaps Tanglewhisker of and shoves him to the ground. Suddenly SIlverpaw springs out, launches at the badgers neck, and gives it a good, hard bite. The badger schreeks and runs out of camp.

I think he'll live. He is so funny!)

Rainshadow touched her nose to the tree and curled up in it.
"Darkness is coming. Be safe. Those Badgers came for a reason. This will be the harshest winter ever. three cats will die from natural causes. Make as many apprentices warriors as you can. " Duskfur said to her. She realized Applestar was there too. "Did you loose a life?" Rainshadow asked?
"Yes I did."

Droppaw hunkered down in the shadows, listening. He wondered if he could finally become a Warrior. Probably not. While other apprentices had been heroically fighting the badgers, he had been practicing hunting with Sprucetail.
