RiverKit saw Galefeather and Icepaw and decided to spy on them.

"Uh huh." She breathed in a lungful of fresh morning air. The she hissed, "Ow!" a thorn had gotten stuck in her paw. She pulled at it with her teeth. "I cant--quite--get it..."

Icepaw turned and grabbed her paw. He lapped it gently and got the thorn. Wordlessly he pulled it out and spat it on the ground.

Stormykit wondered where Riverkit went, and started searching.
