I promised pic of growth on eyelid so here it is UPDATE!

I have a friend that has what looks like that by both eyes. His Dr. told him it was deposits from high cholesterol? Maybe you could check that??

Some areas have free clinics. I don't know what it takes to qualify but may be worth checking into.

There are alot of doctors that do payment plans and especially for those that are uninsured. I just went through all this with some of the girls I work with. Since one was recently kicked off the medical card and she had no clue what to do. So we pointed her in the right direction. I know there is a free clinic in Olive Hill, Ky my mother n law goes there. Its the Carter county clinic.
Good Luck!
Please get that looked that, that isn't something you want to mess around with.

Honey, seriously you need to have that looked at. I too am scared for you, god knows what that could be?
I don't like that you're saying it's painful and that you can't touch it. NOT GOOD!
How old are your children? I see that you have 2 DD's in your siggy... I'm asking because if they are under 18 you may qualify with your family to get state health insurance if you're low income, which I'm assuming you are if you have no insurance.
Please think of your family here. They need you to take care of yourself so you can be a proper wife and mama...

thanks everyone I am calling right now to make a new dr appt. we get our tax check tomorrow so that will give me a little money.
my girls are 18 & 19 so the state helping is out, have to do this myself. I will let you all know what they say thanks

I think I would try to find some clinic that will take you on; free, reduced rate or payment plan. I think it needs to be looked at and I think the question you should be asking is not can I afford it but can I afford to lose my vision or my eye.

A doctor, even if he is unwilling to treat it, should be able to give you some idea of what the growth is and what kind of prognosis you might have with having treated or untreated.

As a diabetic, you are already at risk for vision issues. I think a frank discussion with your doctor is in order.

Good Luck.

I will let everyone know what the dr. says when I go. I didn't mean for anyone to get upset about this . no my cholesterol level is fine. what is so anoying and bothersome is where it interfers with my sight in that eye and the headache. maybe this dr. can find out what it is and get rid of it. thanks everyone
