I quess i will have to get rid of my roo...

I don't mean to offend, but if the rooster isn't safe with your hens, why would it be okay to "put him up for adoption" and subject other hens to him? He has proven that he has aggression issues, putting him with a "not so established group" wouldn't change that. The resposble thing to do is cull the rooster because there is no need to procreate more mean roosters when there are nice roosters going into the pot. JMO

although im not easily offended,i will just say that noone,but we knows this roo. i see how he is with all the rest of the flock and my family. i dont think that he deserves to go into the pot. i think my hen may have a chip on her shoulder and be a little hard to get along with LOL
 
Just as long as you give full disclosure to the new owners about why you're not keeping the rooster. I hope it works out well for those people and for the bird.
