I realized something about gray hair this weekend...

I quit coloring my hair 2 years ago and even though it was hard growing it out... I have LONG hair and it took a LONG time... I am so glad I did it. I get compliments on my hair all the time now and don't have to worry about roots or chemicals.

The first gray hair I found at 20 years old, warranted a cellphone call to a South African safari lodge to bawl to my mother about it. She didn't think it was nearly as much of a big deal as I did but then again, she's pushing 60 & doesn't have any grays so she really isn't one to talk!

I'm 39, and it's still more brunette, but there is a LOT of gray coming in. Way too many for tweezers. Way too many to pay my kids a nickel a hair to pull it out, like my dad used to do!
