I REALLY am a novice

Pet them at night while they are on the roost, it's up to you how much a you want to be able to handle them. treats are a great incentive. I like to be able to treat wounds. My so. Can handle them very well. He's been working with my crazy silkie.

About posting it's hard to explain what do you want to do?

Hi, to upload a photo, click on the symbol as shown here which is just above the reply window.

Then click on 'upload Files' as shown in the next pic.

then navigate to wherever your photos are. These two screenshots where saved onto the desktop of my computer. If you have a PC there's a button to capture a screenshot which is of everything in view. You can then copy and paste in to a word doc which allows you to crop the picture. If you have a Mac then pressing Command, Shift and 4 at the same time allows you to take a screenshot of a selected area which is what I did.

If you don't want to start a new thread, try the search box at the very top to see if it's already been asked.

Just ask questions when I need advice. I've gotten some real help at the feed store which I finally found....really good people and someplace we've been for other things. I've got to get some pictures. Realized that's something we haven't done. Better get with it. They're beautiful, especially the Maran, the Welsummer and the Wyandots.

Welcome Nell If you just keep coming back to this thread it will be fine. Are any of them laying eggs yet? They are getting closer to laying age as their combs and waddles are growing. Any squatting going on yet? Just keep on doing what you are doing they will be fine.
