Why do you think it's gapeworm? Have them ever actually been diagnosed by a vet? VermX is some kind of "natural" wormer (ie useless).
That said, you need to do follow up deworming 10 days after the initial deworming, sometimes even a 3rd time depending on circumstances. I use Valbazen/albendazole but you could also use Safeguare/fenbendazole. Don't even bother with VermX as a preventative or anything else. My advice would be to do 3 wormings at 10 day intervals and then every 2-3 months do 2 wormings at 10 day intervals.
But 1st get a fecal sample to the vet and make sure that's even what you're dealing with.
 
well they are adsactley the same as all my other hens which have had it, i wormed them then they were fine when they had finished being worms

I've long ago learned not to trust anything but an actual diagnosis. There's nothing to be gained by treating blind.
Edit: Were your previous hens diagnosed positively for gapeworms by a vet?
