I shoulda just stayed on BYC yesterday and left FB alone. Apparently my humor is lost on FB.
I now have a guy I knew from high school ranting and raving about censorship because I posted 'TMI' on a thread about his "morning coffee experience" and its effect on regularity. That's all I said, T M I, and suddenly I'm a bad person? Puh-lease.

I think most humor is lost on FB. FB has become the new "lunch room" where all the "kool kidz" hang out and take themselves way too seriously.

I too have offended on FB so now I just walk away.....it's less painful that way.

Come to think of it, my sense of humor is lost on a lot of people. I think we are waaaaaaaaaaaaay to stuck on self importance and "feelings". Everyone has to feel good. Can't hurt anyone's feelings............I say put your big girl panties on and get over it.

My dear father, God rest his soul, used to tell us kids almost daily "Life's a B***h and then you die". And know what, it is....so why not laugh it up. My grandmother used to always say it's as easy to laugh as it is to cry.

But then, I come from a long line of people who make inappropriate jokes and snide remarks (if you wanna believe what "they say"....which brings me to a side point, who is "they"?and why must we always be reminding people of what "they" say? are "they" really all that knowledgeable? Seems to me "they" are pretty full of themselves. But I digress................hey, what was my point?.............never mind..........

I hear ya. I never was, never tried to be, cool. My 'clique' has always been made up of geeks. Luckily, I have a lot of geek friends on FB, too. So I will ignore this person's posts and no longer ever comment on them. But I'm not going to let him ruin something that's really helped me through a very bad period. I like FB!
Besides which, if TMI is censorship then why do teenagers never shut-up after you say it? I always considered to be on equal lines of "Oh man, gross!" and not "Shut up"... <carefully stepping away from the soapbox now>
