Most likely they were put with chicken as day old ducklings..

Ducks don't need as much heat as chicks.

I think this was during the summer, so it was pretty warm outside during the day, and at night I made sure they had a warm place to sleep.

I got a new hen... she is a black cooper mieran, she is suppose to be broody. but scene we just got her she needs time to settle in. lets hope she is
