Thanks LOLyou guys do great work.
just a little to creepy for me.
I agree with BFMom...a preemie is a good place to start. Not so much painting or rooting that you get too frustrated the first time around. If you don't want a preemie then start small as BFMom says the Heather kit is a pretty good size baby. Also you may want to avoid a kit with too much details until you practice a bit.I am trying to figure out which kit to buy for my first doll. I've narrowed it down to 4 closed eyed kits from bountiful baby.
Kate, Heather, Chrisy, or Siena. I bought a Molly doll off of ebay even though she is adorable I think her head looks too small for her body.(I heard Shyann is a good swap for this). If you are familiar with them... Which of my 4 picks would you recommend for a first timer? and which of the 4 would you say has the best detail and proportion? Am I picking too big for a first timer? Thanks M![]()
Glad the fix is working out for you.Okay, I am happier with this new layer I added! I have some blushing to do and finishing touches like nails... add her eyes, root hair, lashes... So much more to do!!!
The lady I am making her for wants a heartbeat box added! I think they are neat... but I wish it would beat longer than it does.
I agree with you on Mollys limbs being too big for her head...Her arms and legs were taken from another sculpt... I don't think they were a good match.
If the body is too big you can always swap it out with a smaller one from BB.
I would reccomend choosing a preemie kit for your first one. Preemies are so red and splotchy that if you over blush or mess up it is easy to hide.
Heather is the largest doll I have done...besides Eden.... I really enjoyed Heathers sweet face!
