...To a dear friend of 18+ years. My dear, sweet, Wild-One. The vet came all the way out here today to put her to sleep under the big oak tree.

I have had this cat for over 18 years, through good times and bad. Life around here just won't be the same now, my heart is broken. I wish I had better pictures, pictures that would do her justice- but I just don't have the energy to upload them right now. I'm drained.

I just wish I had my kitty back.

Animals enrich our lives in so many ways but the sad thing is they don't live as long as we do. I have always felt the best gift we can give them is to ease their suffering at the end.
