My 4 new baby ducks are the biggest pigs ever. They drink more and smell worse than 26 pheasant did. They seem to like the wet brooder, but I don't so I change it. I put them on pine shavings today hopefully that absorbs a little bit more then paper towels.

You would be better off during the day to give them a place in the grass in a wire pen on sunny hot days.

I save the brooder and shavings for when I bring them in at night.

By 4 weeks since the weather is really warming up you can put them outdoors in a closed run with shelter.

I don't know where I could get some. I am not sure I could get my parents to get some for me either.

I put mine in a portable wire rabbit cage with a towel in it to protect their feet. Then I put the cage on blocks in the shower. We have a hand held shower and I would periodically spray all the stuff down the drain. Made life a bit easier. They are poop machines.

Like MissPrissy said, put them out during the day.
