I set eggs 2/27/10 ** DUE 3/20th-3/21st** WE"RE HATCHING!!!!

I'm in!

I set 6 duck eggs (out of my Hookbill, most likely fertilized by my Buff Runner drake, but there are 2 Dark Campbell drakes and a Hookbill drake in with her too, so they could be purebred) yesterday!

Hatch date: March 30th or 31st - I put them in sort of late in the day!

EDIT: I'm using my Brinsea Octagon 20 ECO - this is my "test batch" with duck eggs in this incubator. I've only hatched chicks in it so far! And all the ducks are separated by breed as of yesterday, so if this hatch goes well, I'll be incubating some purebred Runners for an early May hatch!

Yay, for you 2! I remember when I was waiting for those eggs to come in the mail. I had 4 shippments all together. So 4 times I had to wait patiently for them buggers to come. And I am NOT a patient person.

Fordmommy......Well, you're in trouble then. The last 3 days are waaayyyyyyyyy more stressful than waiting for the eggs to arrive. And then when they pip, time basically stops. It takes what seems like forever for them to get out of their eggs!

Mary.......Yay! Our hatches will be close. Then we can swap chicks!

Gotta go get my bator out and warmed up.

Alrighty.......bator is plugged in and hygrometers are calibrating.

I bought a new thermometer/hygrometer, but since I haven't used it before, I'm also putting the same one I used last time in too. So I'll have 3 thermometers in there and 2 hygrometers.

It feels so good to get the bator out of the closet! I'm so excited to hatch again!

Well the eggs aren't here yet, so I need something to do! If 1 instrument is good, than 3 is better!
