Oh and MY hubby ALWAYS says no, ALWAYS, but if I want something I just do it, and within FIVE minutes he's right behind me helping and making sure everything is going well.......

Like just the other day he said NO to me getting eggs to hatch, well I bought em anyway - and then discovered my incubator wasn't really maintaining very well - so he bought me a new one

He's off today and s'pose to take me to town for dinner and a movie (V-day gift). Keep your fingers crossed.

Ok I am not going to tell you what to do ( go get the duck ) but if you really think about it ( go get the duck ) how much noise can one little duck make?? ( go get the duck ) and like you said you have plenty of room its not like your SO will hear him when he is outside playing in his little kiddy ( go get the duck ).

If I had said no to the box full of baby ducks I would not have the three I have now.
and you could always tell him what I tell my DH " look honey what followed me home - we have to keep it " LOL

I love Atwoods, even got a part-time job there once (can we say employee discount??). The one here doesn't have their chicks yet, but I'm going to check tonight...

No Atwoods here but we do have TSC, and this year they're actually going to have live chicks/ducks in the store.

Last year they had a sign with all the breeds available that you had to order.
This starts March 7th, so guess where I'll be!

And Gritsar, this ain't the first time we've been called crazy....I hear it so often, I take it as a "compliment" now.

'k, so we went to town today to run our errands. Not the town where the baby duck is, but the town closer to us. All the way there I'm thinking get our errands done quickly and maybe he'll take me to the other town to get the baby duck. Well...we stopped by the car lot where I got my car for me to take care of some paperwork and we both saw/fell in love with a Jeep. So instead of getting a duck, I spent all day doing the paperwork on a new jeep! It's red and it's purty!

Maybe tomorrow we can test ride the new jeep all the way to the Atwoods store.
