and the greenhouse is finished!

and the husband is on board with the coop idea and will even help so i can get it done faster and easier.

We have all been there in our own ways and it is lovely to see the progress you have been making.
Just remember, you really do need more than two chickens.

Yes. Two chickens is the absolute minimum. But best wait until you are finished rebuilding, there is not chicken-fuzz anymore, and you are sure there is space for 2 extra bantams. Two chickens with enough space is better than more chickens with too little space.

that’s what i was thinking! and more chickens with a no good set up would give me a meltdown. lol!

hi guys! just updating if you're interested.
we got the greenhouse finished and ordered a bunch of stuff to build a better run. i tested the temperature in the little greenhouse for a few of the warmest days. i put a sail shade on top too. it was too hot for them in there, but it stayed consistently cool in the polytunnel. so we went with the original plan and we have been working all weekend to get it done. the coop is going to have to wait, but i really don't think they mind it the way it is. since we had to move it, i was able to make a much better roost, that neither have tried yet. but they seem very happy with the new space, which is great because the fox has been coming around. i took a couple pics but i am sure we'll change things around.
