That little car probably gets better gas mileage than any modern day vehicle. The blankets being moved overhead of the chickens definitely scared the holy bejeebies out of them. Mine would freak out when I would cover the brooder and uncover them.

i can't get that car. i mean. i could. but it isn't practical. i do love it though.
i definitely freaked them out with the blanket. even though i was trying to be so careful! we had a few other freezing nights and i covered it,but put it on and took it off while they were in the coop. that was much less chaotic.

there's one poultry sale page saying it does and another one now saying it isn't lifted yet.

they were very clear about saying to house them and now it's very vague if they're saying it's lifted.
